Whilst our volunteer editors will do their best to ensure our events listings are as up to date and accurate as possible; with the fast pace of how things are changing, it is inevitable that some will slip through the net. If you are planning on travelling for larger events, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly to avoid disappointment. We are putting in place new measures to give event organisers a friendly reminder to see if they wish to remove cancelled events, so we're sorry if it looks a bit bare in here :(

Rotaract Club of Southend meet at TEAC Wheelbase Club, Eastern Esplanade, Southend-On-Sea (3.3 miles)
Roteract is a club for 18 to 30 year olds meeting every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. We do fundraising and community projects around Southend. Last year we raised £1250 for Bosom Pals, £500 for the Southend Night Shelter and £200 for Mcmillan Nurses.
We also have a very full social calendar. We go to the cinema, have pub/club nights, pool competitions, bowling, dvd nights, poker nights (for fun), meals out, melas in cooked by one of the members.

South Essex Gymnastics Club meet at Basildon Sporting Village, Cranes Farm Road, Basildon (9.6 miles)
We offer parent and toddler classes that are open for anybody to come with their children and structured Pre-school classes for children from the age of 2 years. We offer one hour Gymschool classes for children who are at full time school and are beginners. We also offer a slightly more advanced class that lasts for two hours. We have squad groups in all three of our disciplines; Men’s and Women’s Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics. They train from one day a week to six days a week depending on their level of ability. We have classes for adult gymnastics, freestyle and disability gymnastics. We also run fun sessions in the holidays and the gym is available at the weekends to host parties.
